I know it’s a little confusing when I start posting stories from the trail. You may wonder—is he on the trail right now? Sometimes I am, but what I post on Substack isn’t a current event. I don’t share the stories of my AT section hike as they are happening. Rather, I share a piece of the story (usually a 24 hour piece) each week.
I have already published everything from the trail through the summer of 2021. I will begin publishing stories from the 2022 hike this weekend.
The previous stories have revealed a long series of ups and down, which is why the subtitle of Sprawl: An Accidental Section Hiker is, Trials and Triumphs on and off the Trail.
The storyline is about to take a positive turn.
The winds of change began blowing again but this time they blow in positive directions.
