We closed on a house in mid-February and have moved in this week.
You’ll remember us moving from NC to KY last spring, renting a house while we search for one to buy over the winter.
We are right on track and about a month ahead of schedule.
My son came down to help me with the heavy stuff. I found out the next day that we spent the day together on National Son’s Day.
There has been no time or energy (or internet for a few days) to work on a story this week.
The only mountain climbing story I tell this week is about the mountain of stuff we have to concur. Though we upsized in space, we’re downsizing in stuff. A massive yard sale is in our near future.
We’re using a phone as a hot-spot right now so I can send this message to you.
Eating dinner on a plastic tub resting on two cardboard moving boxes,
surrounded by boxes, watching Next of Kin on DVD. A good way to spend a Friday night…..mostly because neither one of us can move - we are so sore and tire.
but it’s all coming together.
We will get back to trail stories next week.
…..see ya then…..
Thanks to all my readers for spending your Saturday Mornings with me.
If you’re not a current reader, why not???
There’s a free side where you get partial content and announcements.
For only $5.00 per month or $50.00 per year you will have full access to everything.
Congrats on the move!
I was washing windows today and wondered... "what would Sprawl think of me using this little squeegee, paper towel, and watered down windex?" Lol
I guess its alot like hiking the trail. You do it the way you like and its all OK.
