A new phase is coming!!!
Good News! I am working on book three!
Bad News! I am about four months behind where I’d like to be on it.
As you’ve read in the past, I work at a local private school. There has been so much going lately there that it’s been consuming too much of my time.
Unfortunately, like most people, I have keep doing it to bring in a certain amount of money each month. Such is the time we live in.
I’m barely keeping up with book two’s final chapters.
A second job near my first job presented itself. I took it. It’s just a few hours a day a couple days a week and I can work at my convenience.
I have written parts of book three’s first few chapters, but have hand written notes for all of it while on trail. I will be relying heavily on these notes and the photos from the trip in order to write the story properly over the course of the next year.
A new phase is coming!!!
What to expect for the rest of 2023:
Book two will end in a few weeks. Since we are entering the holiday season we will take a break from storyline stories. I will instead post some never-seen-before old stuff and some holiday stuff.
This will buy me some time to play catch-up on book three. Once I’m able to sit and focus the stories seem to flow out of me. They always do. I love writing about these experiences and hope that you enjoy them. I hope the past few months’ posts haven’t reflected my physical and mental exhaustion.

It’s based on the two month long hike in the spring of 2023 that stretched over seven-hundred-twenty-five miles, from Harpers Ferry WV through Hanover NH.
The story goes beyond book one’s mental confusion and book two’s search for peace. It reveals self healing and helping others. I met so many people on the trail who were in various phases of the exact same traumatic events I experienced five years ago. Our reactions and recovery were similar.
We are all continually traveling through various phases and stages of our lives.
Some of us relate one to another on deeper levels Wearing matching scars left by loved ones’ devils.
Book three’s story is about the trail placing the right people on my path at the right time - for their benefit as well as mine.
