Welcome to Sprawl: An Accidental Section Hiker, by me, Jason “Sprawl”. Husband, Father, Photographer, Writer, Wanderer.

Sprawl: An Accidental Section Hiker is a collection of ongoing short stories about my yearly journeys along the Appalachian Trail. About ongoing recovery through symptoms caused by traumatic events, through life changes, to new beginnings.

Many stories combine my backpacking and bicycle touring ventures with my passion for photography and writing. I hope you'll join me in my past, present, and future travels. There will also be a myriad of post from inspiration to poetry to random thoughts to fictional stories, and more.

In the meantime, tell your friends!
