#106 Trimpi Shelter to Chatfield Shelter Day 45: ATMM 524.3 – ATMM 541.1
One big happy family crushed into one small shelter and camp area.
Last night was pitch black. No moon visible, no light whatsoever. No wind. All was still. I was still. It was a great night of restful sleep. I had been having trouble sleeping with melatonin on the trail. I switched to Tylenol PMs last night. Lesson learned; melatonin at home, PMs on the trail.
This morning I’m awaken by hikers leaving the area. A light rain falls while I cook my breakfast. I sit in my tent while my stove sits on the dirt under one flap of my vestibule. The other flap is still open from last night to help with ventilation. Uncle Lody is under his tarp preparing his breakfast. The rain is light and short lived.
