Today’s epiphany encouraged a leap in my pack-weight-dropping evolution.
One big happy family crushed into one small shelter and camp area.
Medicine-Man replies in a concerned tone, “I’ve noticed that you’ve been slipping a little. To which I reply in a flat tone, “You have no idea.”
I walk alone across the open bald, feeling myself connecting with the trail. The carefree feeling of freedom begins to penetrate my troubled mind.
